Being a family that has traveled to many destinations scattered over the globe, when it comes to exploring new areas: we are not your traditional tourists. Whether its finding hidden cities or watching Shakespearean plays in an English town, finding unique spots is always the goal. When we were in Canada, we did not go to the CN tower nor did we visit zoos. However, by going to hidden spots in the area we were able to have a different yet adventurous experience. Below is a list of uncommon places (in no particular order) that you should for sure visit any time you are in the Ontario:
Stratford
This hidden gem was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. You can easily just park your car and stroll through this Shakespeare themed town. Its quaint nature and its European architecture makes you feel as if you're in the Shakespearean era. Stratford is a town you should definitely spend a full day on. if you ever find yourself in Stratford, be sure to visit: the lake, the Shakespearean gardens, its adorable mom and pop shops, and maybe even catch a play, what the town is best known for!

graffiti alley
This aesthetic street art alley is a must, especially if you love Instagram :). I personally don't admire graffiti but was awed by the complexity and detail of the art. The pictures speak for themselves!

Distillery District
With its classic red brick architecture this place is perfect to just stroll through! Although we cant have wine, simply walking through this place and its shopping centers was so beautiful. There were some amazing photo opportunity so its perfect for Instagram lovers!

Niagara ON THE LAKE
Just a short drive from the falls, this small quaint town is worth the stop over. With its adorable buildings, just strolling through the city and inhaling its air is relaxing. The calming lake (what the city is best known for) is perfect for just sitting down and reading a book.

NIAGARA Falls
How could we not have this natural wonder on our list!
Having always seen simply the waterfall in the Dubai mall, this wonder truly awed us. The subtle rainbow and the shades of blue in the water are just beautiful. I would highly recommend going on the cruise (its not as scary as it looks), and if you have an adventurous spirit maybe the zipline that hangs just above the falls!

Niagara
After a quick stop at the beautiful Niagara falls, many tend to head onto their next destination and fail to explore the city itself. Niagara is a lively family city filled with interactive fun places geared towards children while also managing to pull off a New York style vibe. Places like Ripley Believe it or not, the upside down house, haunted mansion, laser tag, and the Guinness world records museum are a must visit. They also have the best soft serve ice cream :)

Belfountain
This park is a perfect destination if you're looking for a relaxing day! With it's lush gardens and gorgeous waterfalls, its calming aromas lure you in. Natural wonders like Belfountain are a must visit!

We hope that you enjoyed our blog. Whenever you travel, visiting hidden spots truly adds another dimension to your visit.
