I am working on a parental workshop these days and have been thinking about family culture and what an integral part of our family life it is. A shared family vision is such a beautiful legacy and one needs to work hard to leave one behind. Do we have one in our family is what I have been thinking this week and then It just popped up as I was buying a deal at TJMax- celebration, family celebration is what perhaps our family’s shared vision is. As it’s an all girls’ house ( poor hubby has to strive hard to show his muscle ) we have this ultimate love for little things in life. This is what brings us together. If I have to call them all in one room, I don’t need to turn off wifi ( as you might be wondering) I have to announce, girls I’m thinking of a themed dinner or how about we go shopping for Ramadan décor? Eid is almost here, I need you guys to do some DIY stuff and that is how we move on with traditions. Moving to US from Middle East was daunting. ‘shuhaira, you need to stop throwing those buffet dinners there please’ was the advice I was getting from my beloved Abu Dhabian friends. And my little one was so nervous, Amma, you are not going to stop celebrating birthday would you? Was her passionate query. Well, US has it’s own challenges but oh boy, nothing makes my heart filled with both pleasure and excitement than the party decor shops, the budget stores and my most favorite dollar store 😊 This folder is dedicated to all the memorable events we have had in our OC home.
