Club sandwiches

Every Ramadan, I try to share few of my favorite recipes with you. Club sandwiches are a part of Pakistani cuisine for a long while. Who can forget Mujeeb’s sadwiches at Tariq road? or Boat basin’s yummy sandwiches. sharing this easy recipes with my non Pakistani followers who might find it interesting and something new as well. Your feedback is very important so please leave a comment as to how I can improve my written recipe format.
Ingredients:
Chicken tikka chunks : 1 cup
Boiled eggs : 3
Coleslaw: half cup
Mayonnaise and ketchup: 1/4 cup each
Cheddar cheese shredded: optional half cup
bread slices: 12
Method for chicken chunks:
I make these in bulk and freeze for sandwiches/ pastries etc
Ingredients:
Bone less chicken: 500 gm
Shan chicken tikka masala: 2 tablespoon
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1tablespoon
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoon
Oil: 2 tablespoon
Method:
Marinate chicken with all ingredients. Leave it in refrigerator overnight or Atleast 2 hours.
In a pan add oil a d sauté chicken until little brown. Cook it on low flame until its tender but moist.
Smoked effect: (optional)
Take a burning charcoal in a steel bowl and place in the pot. Now pour some oil over the burning charcoal. Once the smoke starts rising, cover and seal for 5 minutes.
For coleslaw:
Ingredients:
Cabbage: half cup shredded
Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoon
White sugar: 1.5 teaspoon
Method
Mix all ingredients.
Club sandwiches method:
-Cut the corners of bread slices
- spread mayonnaise and ketchup on each slice.
- boiled eggs and slice.
- Take one slice and place chicken chunks and cheese (optional) cover it with another slice and place egg and coleslaw and cover with the third slice.
Grill it or serve as it is.
