Pecan Custard pie ( A quick fix)

Let me admit here, I am not a bread/ pie kind of cook 😂 I always find ways to do the quick fixes when it comes to these recipes. This custard pie is amazingly delicious although it doesn’t have the proper crust.






Ingredients:

Eggs: 3 yolks

Milk: 1 cup

Whipping cream: 200 ml

Sugar: 4 tablespoons

Vanilla powder: 1 teaspoon

Digestive biscuits: 6-8

Butter: 1/4 cup

Pecan : 1 cup chopped and afew whole.

Method:

Add biscuit and butter in a food processor until you get fine crumbs.

Press the crumbs in a bowl and bake it at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Just to settle it down.

In a pan, add egg yolks, milk and sugar. Let it cook until you get the custard texture. Add vanilla powder and set aside. Transfer it to freezer once it cools down. Take it out in 15 minutes.

Add whipping cream to yolk mixture. Add chopped pecan.

Pour the mixture to the biscuit crust and bake at 350 degreed for 40 minutes.
