Mutton Leg Roast

Deciding on a dawat menu can be challenging. I would always opt for roast to make the dawat more fancy. Afterall, dawat / dinner parties need some extra glam on the table 🤩

I have tried roast beef, full grilled chicken , duck roast but Mutton leg is my all time favorite. Try this easy one recipe and impress your guests. Mutton leg roast Ingredients : Mutton leg : 1.5 kg or bigger Yoghurt: one cup Ginger garlic paste: 3 tablespoon Red chili powder: 2 table spoon Coriander powder: 2 table spoon Cumin powder: 1 tablespoon Garam masala powder: 1 tablespoon Black pepper: 1 tablespoon Onion : 1 cut in 4 pieces Carrot: 1 cut in pieces Potato: 1 cut in pieces Garlic bulb For garnishing: Chat masala powder: 2 table spoon Red chili powder:1 tablespoon Coriander powder: 2 tablespoon Black pepper : 1 tablespoon One lemon juice Method: 1:Ask your butcher to trim the fat snd give deep cuts so masala can seep in. 2: In a bowl mix yoghurt, gg paste and all other maslaas. 3: Marinate the meat and leave overnight in refrigerator. 4: In a bog pan add oil and sear the meat on high flame. 5 minutes each side. 5: Now add onion and other vegetables. 6: Add 6 glass of water. Let it cook on low flame until meat is tender. 7: ( optional) Take a burning charcoal in a steel bowl and place in the pot. Now pour some oil over the burning charcoal. Once the smoke starts rising, cover seal for 5 minutes. 8: Before serving Sear it in a wok or frying pan with a little oil. Sprinkle lemon juice and masala. Serve the gravy with veggies on the side.
